Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MailHit ("Service"), operated by Adrien Dupoirieux ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MailHit is a pay-as-you-go B2B email finder. We search publicly available sources and verify email addresses via live SMTP checks. You purchase credits that are consumed when we return a verified, deliverable email address.

3. Credits and Payments

Credits are purchased on a one-time basis and never expire.
1 credit is charged per verified email found via standard search.
Standard search is free if we do not find a result.
Deep search (opt-in) costs 1 credit whether or not a result is found.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
Credits are non-refundable once consumed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful B2B prospecting purposes. You must not:

Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email (spam).
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
Use results to harass, stalk, or harm individuals.
Resell or redistribute results without our written consent.
Transfer your account or credits to another party.

5. Data and Privacy

We only surface professional contact information from publicly available sources. We do not store personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the Service. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. GDPR Compliance

MailHit is intended for B2B use only. You are responsible for ensuring your use of email addresses obtained through the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You act as an independent data controller for any personal data you process using our results.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or third-party service failures (email providers, DNS, etc.).

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email at the address on your account. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes shall be resolved by informal negotiation first, then binding arbitration.
